Signs of Ecoli Infection

Common symptoms include: Bloody Diarrhea (E. coli is a leading cause of bloody diarrhea.)Abdominal cramps with little or no fever. Other symptoms may include: non-bloody diarrhea, or no symptoms at all. The symptoms are worse in children and older people, and especially in people who have another illness. E. coli infection is more common during the summer months and in northern states. Symptoms usually begin 2-5 days after infection althoug the range is 1 to 8 days. Any of these sypmtoms should be followed by a doctors vistit.
