Ecoli Vaccines

Welcome to Ecoli Vaccines. Please review this site with care. We offer basic information about a dangerous disease; E Coli. Ecoli Vaccines is not intended to diagnose this disease, but it offers a basis background of E Coli including possible signs and symptoms. Ecoli Vaccines gives a brief and important description of the disease.
Scientists continue to work on vaccines against E Coli, but it appears to still be in the experimental stages. There are several research issues being worked on to prevent E Coli in Cows currently, as beef is a major source of E Coli infections. One experimental vaccine for human prevents E. coli from attaching itself to the urinary tract. E. coli - like many bacteria - is covered with fine hairs called pili, which have sticky tips. Science will continue to investigate possible vaccines against this disease and with modern medicine on top of this issue we will hopefully see a complete disappearance of this disease some day.
